Value:Rs. 137.21Crore | The second revised administrative approval of Rs 137.21 crore was given for Kolar Seep Link Project at the State Cabinet meeting. About 13 villages of Ichhawar tehsil from Sehore district will get the benefit of irrigation on 6100 hectare in rabi and 2600 hectare area in kharif season

The Cabinet has approved to continue 10 priority projects selected by the Government of India's Water Resource Ministry till 2019-20 under the Water Management Programme and Command Area Development run by the Water Resources Department and has permitted to continue 13 non-priority projects till 2017-18

Through this programme, water utilization capacity of the irrigation canal system will be obtained after construction of the concrete field channel in 4.29 lakh hectare area in the coming 3 years. This requires an estimated cost of Rs 1566.24 crore. The Cabinet has decided to get independent evaluation of the works taken up under this scheme through the third party

The Cabinet gave in-principle approval of Rs 2871.83 crore for the construction of building for high schools and higher secondary schools under the School Education Department

The Cabinet has decided to make amendments in the Mukhya Mantri Kaushalya Yojana and Kaushal Samvardhan Yojana in the Department of Technical Education and Skill Development. Target has been fixed to provide training to youths who have left formal education system/ individuals who wish to develop their skills and want employment/self-employment/those who want certification of informal skills/women and other deprived groups/youths from Naxal-affected areas/ youths from denotified, nomadic and semi-nomadic category. These schemes will ensure jobs and self-employment for youths which will further improve their living standard

The Cabinet has decided to approve Rs 30 crore from year 2017-18 to 2019-20 for the implementation of Chief Minister's Economic Welfare Scheme run through the Madhya Pradesh State Cooperative Scheduled Caste Finance and Development Corporation by the Scheduled Caste Welfare Department. Around 24,000 people would benefit under the scheme

The Cabinet has approved Rs 138 crore for the implementation from 2017-18 to 2019-20 for Relief Fund Distribution Scheme to victims under Scheduled Caste and Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act 1989 and Amendment 2015 and Madhya Pradesh Scheduled Caste Scheduled Tribe (Yojana) Amendment Act 2016

Outstanding students are selected in the State from Class VI from 8 Model Higher Secondary Schools and 4 Gurukulam Residential Schools through State level entrance examination. The Cabinet has approved extension of the scheme for three years. Through the scheme 8 thousand 40 students would be benefited in the next three years
