Value: 567 Crore | Reliance Infrastructure has emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder for a turnkey contract from NTPC
The turnkey contract from NTPC is for carrying out of flue gas de-sulphurisation (FGD) system work of its 1,500 MW (3x500 MW) power plant at Jhajjar in Haryana
The price bid of Reliance Infrastructure was lower than that of Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL), Larsen & Toubro (L&T), and Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems
The value of the contract is Rs 567 crore. The scope of work includes design, engineering supply and commissioning of the FGD system
The project will be completed in 20 months from the award of the contract for the first unit with subsequent units each, at three months gap
