Heavy Engineering Corporation (HEC) and Paras Healthcare announced to run a 300 bedded super speciality hospital providing tertiary care services in the Capital City. A PPP project for the same was signed by CMD, HEC, Avijit Ghosh and MD, Paras Healthcare, Dr Dharminder Nagar on Tuesday. The project spread over 10 acres will evolve as a healthcare destination specializing in cancer, neurosurgery, cardiac sciences and orthopedics
The HEC, CMD said on the occasion, “We are extremely delighted to partner with Paras Healthcare for this state-of-the-art multi super specialty hospital. We are extending Paras Healthcare all the support for early start of the hospital and I hope that employees and ex-employees of HEC alongwith the people from adjoining cities and towns of Ranchi will also be able to avail medical services here. We are partnering with Paras Healthcare as we realized acute shortage of quality tertiary care in the city and its vicinity
Paras Hospitals, Ranchi is being set up under Design – Build – Finance- Operate & Transfer (DBFOT) basis on public-private partnership by HEC and Paras wherein the land for the hospital is being provided by HEC while Paras will bring its healthcare expertise and manage the day to day operations. The operations and management project has been signed with Paras taking the success of Paras Hospital, Patna and Paras Hospital, Darbhanga into consideration
MD, Paras Healthcare, Dr Dharminder Nagar, “This project will directly impact the life of more than 10 million Indians residing in Ranchi and surrounding areas such as Bokaro, Jamshedpur, Dumri & Rourkhela. In fact with time this project based on collaboration, advancement and empowerment of the common man with affordable and accessible tertiary care, shall become an asset for the state. Even today, people in the industrial town of Jharkhand need to travel to other cities for medical needs, especially for tertiary medical care such as cancer, bone marrow transplant, kidney transplant, heart ailments, disorders of nerves and brain and bone related operations. Our aim is to make the best super specialty care available in Jharkhand.
