Value: 1837.36 Crore | The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) has accorded terms of reference (ToR) for Shree Cement’s proposed integrated plant in Gujarat
The company’s unit Bhuj Cement Plant has proposed to install an integrated cement plant, clinker 2.5 million tpa, cement 3.5 million tpa, waste heat recovery power plant 20 MW (GPP), captive thermal power plant 25 MW (CPP) along with synthetic gypsum unit 65 TPH, DG sets of 1,250 kVA and railway siding
It has proposed to set up a plant for cement manufacturing based on dry process technology
The unit will come up over Maldo village, Lakhpat tehsil, Kachchh district, Gujarat
The land required for the propose project is 141.96 ha. The total project cost is around Rs 1,837.36 crore
The project will create 500 direct and 550 indirect jobs
