The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) has accorded terms of reference (ToR) to Eco Cement’s enhancement of portland pozzolana cement grinding unit.
The unit is located at Plot no 1644, Kulhariya village, Durgawati Tahasil, Bhabua, Bihar
The production will be enhanced from one million tpa to four million tpa in two phases -- portland pozzolana cement grinding unit i.e incremental three million tpa (one million tpa Phase-I and two million tpa in Phase-II) through installation of additional stand alone closed-circuit ball mill and associated equipment at existing plant location
The land acquired for the proposed plant is 21.100 acre and additional 60.00 acre will be acquired
The existing project cost is Rs 100 crore and additional project cost will be Rs 312 crore for expansion (Rs 117.67 crore for Phase-I and Rs 194.35 crore for Phase-II). The total cost of the project is Rs 412.02 crore
The total capacity of raw materials after expansion will be--clinker (7,800 tpd), gypsum (600 tpd) and fly ash (3,600 tpd)
