The Kerala government has approved multiple infra projects worth ?1,805 crore under the Rebuild Kerala Initiative. Of them, ?300 crore has been earmarked for reconstruction of roads under PWD and for the roads under local bodies of eight districts ?488 crore has been sanctioned. In Brahamapuram, a bridge across the Kadambrayar River will be constructed at a cost of ?30 crore. To implement livelihood schemes through Kudumbashree for affected families, ?250 crore has been allocated. Kerala Water Authority has got an allocation of ?350 crore for maintenance of pipes and replacing damaged lines. For reconstruction of 70 village offices and maintenance of 40 other government properties, ?35 crore has been sanctioned, and a sum of ?182.76 crore has been cleared for various agriculture and fisheries sectors ravaged by heavy rains and landslides
