Ball Corporation, an US-based packaging major worth $8.6 billion, a market leader in providing packaging solutions for beverage, food and household products, is all set to inaugurate its first plant for making aluminium aerosol cans in India at Sanand, around 30 km from Ahmedabad. The plant will be set up with an initial investment of Rs 120 crore and would be scaled up to Rs 530 crore in the long run. The company also plans to export around 25 per cent of its production here to countries in West Asia
