Panaji: Goa coastal zone management authority (GCZMA) has requested water resources department ( WRD ) to furnish an environment impact assessment (EIA) report on its proposal to repair an anti-sea erosion wall on the Zuari at Cacra in St Cruz.WRD had applied to the coastal body for an approval to carry out the work on the riverside wall in land under survey number 210/1 at Cacra.GCZMA had sent its expert members, Prabhakar Shirodkar and Audhoot Bhonsule, to carry out site inspection to verify the coastal regulation zone (CRZ) of the area and related documents.Shirodkar and Bhonsule submitted a detailed site inspection report before the authority for discussion.An old laterite retaining wall on the bank has been damaged due to erosion over the years
