Work on the Phase-II of Nerul-Seawoods-Uran Suburban Railway Line will begin post monsoon
The Central Railway (CR) invited tenders for construction of six bridges, one road over bridge (RoB) at Gavan railway station, and one road-under-bridge (RuB) on 17 May 2019
Majority of the works in this phase will be carried out on the stretch between Bamandongri and Gavan railway stations
Post construction of the RoB near Gavan railway station, it will be easier to begin with the laying of the railway tracks in Phase-II
Work on the Phase-II is expected to be completed one year and three months. Other stations that will be part of Phase-II includes Ranjanpada, Nhava Sheva, Dronagiri and Uran railway stations
