Value: 140 Crore | Wheels India is setting up a cast aluminium wheel plant in Thervoy Kandigai, near Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
The company will make an investment to the tune of Rs 140 crore. The plant is expected to start operations in 2020. It will have annual manufacturing capacity of 7.5 lakh wheels.
Wheels India is the manufacturer of steel wheels for light vehicles, commercial vehicles, agricultural tractors; air suspension systems for buses and trucks; and components and structures for windmills, railways and thermal power plants.
