Value: 806.81Crore | Cabinet Minister for IT E&C, MA&UD and Industries & Commerce Departments, KT Rama Rao, has sought financial assistance from the Centre of Rs 806.81 crore for setting up Kakatiya Mega Textile Park (KMTP) in Warangal, Telangana.
The minister has also sought clearance for Mega Powerloom Cluster at Sircilla under the Comprehensive Powerloom Cluster Development Scheme (CPCDS).
The state has 35,588 power looms, of which 25,495 are in Sircilla district.
The state government has invested Rs 45,000 crore in providing safe drinking water to all households by constructing 50 new water treatment plants, 19 new intake wells, 19,000 service tanks and laying 1.05 lakh km water pipelines.
