SunLight Fuels is setting up a bio-fuel unit at Bhikhpur in Sitapur district of Uttar Pradesh. The project involves setting up 500 tpd co-generation power unit to produce 1,75,000 ltr of drop in fuel and also provide facility in hydrocarbon transportation fuels with a capacity of 150 tpd.
The project will come up over 90 acre of land parcel. As per update available with Projects Today, work on the project is underway.
The project worth Rs 1,550 crore received approval from the high-level committee headed by the State Chief Secretary in October 2018.
The project received an approval from the state government in February 2019 and soon work on the project commenced.
