REC Foundation, the corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of REC Limited, has floated a tender for installing 1,650 solar street lights in the Nashik district of Maharashtra on a turn-key basis
The scope of work includes the engagement of project management agencies for the procurement, installation, and commissioning of 1,650 solar lights in the rural and tribal areas of the Nashik district
The work would also include various services for the REC Foundation’s CSR projects ranging from project planning, bidding, procurement, design, engineering, project execution, and monitoring to fulfill the project objectives
The last date to submit the bids is November 02, 2020, and the opening of bids will also take place on the same date. As per the tender document, the bidders will not have to pay any amount as the earnest money deposit (EMD)
According to Mercom’s India Solar Tender Tracker, REC Limited has floated nearly 14.55 MW of solar tenders
Recently, the REC Power Distribution Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of REC Limited, invited bids for the empanelment of the owner’s engineer for solar power projects across India. The tender includes ground-mounted, rooftop solar, floating solar, hybrid, and storage projects. The empanelment will be valid for two years from the date of the empanelment notification
Earlier, REC Foundation had issued a tender for project management agencies to set up a 1 MW grid-connected rooftop solar system for Punjab State Institute of Sports in Mohali. The scope of work involved designing, supply, installation, commissioning of the 1 MW rooftop solar system
