Tata Advanced Systems (TASL) has received a contract from Airbus to manufacture cargo and bulk cargo doors of the A320neo family aircrafts
As per the contract specifications, each shipset will include two cargo doors and one bulk cargo door, and TASL will produce these doors at a new facility in Hyderabad using robotics and automation technology
TASL will support the ramp-up of the A320 programme with its expertise and operational excellence in aerospace manufacturing
Airbus in partnership with TASL, will build the C295 military aircraft Final Assembly Line (FAL) in Gujarat, which will showcase component manufacturing, aircraft assembly and service capabilities
Airbus procures components and services worth USD 735 million annually from Indian suppliers. Its commercial aircrafts and helicopters have critical technologies and systems which are designed, manufactured and maintained in India
