RailTel Corporation of India has received two work orders worth nearly Rs 115.05 crore from Bihar State Electronics Development Corporation (BSEDC) and National Informatics Centre Services Incorporated (NICSl) respectively
The work from BSEDC entails the implementation and management of electronic knowledge networks (100 Mbps internet connectivity, wi-fi system and smart classes) in academic/administrative buildings of government engineering colleges and polytechnic institutes under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Bihar, on a turnkey basis
The contract is worth approximately Rs 76.10 crore and is estimated to be completed in seven months
The other work order from NICSl involves installing, testing, and commissioning four Mbps lease line connectivity from the NIC district centre to 19 immigration centres throughout India
The order is valued at Rs 38.95 crore. The contract is estimated to be completed within 12 months of the date of award
