Jakson Green is developing a green hydrogen fuelling station at Badarpur in New Delhi for a leading power company, which is expected to offset 3.7 tonne of CO2 per day once operational
Apart from a hydrogen purification system, the energy company will set up a battery energy storage system (BESS)-backed renewable hybrid power plant within the station, to make it a self-sustained and specialised facility. Moreover, an advanced integrated control system using the most advanced digital technology will also be installed to enable monitoring of operations
The fuelling station is expected to produce 260 kg of green hydrogen per day at a pressure of 350 bar, which will be utilised to run up to five intercity fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) buses
As announced recently, the company will establish a methanol synthesis facility with a production capacity of 10 tpd for NTPC as part of its Vindhyachal thermal plant in Madhya Pradesh. Methanol is a cleaner alternative fuel for use in power generation and transportation, and many other sectors
