The Uttarakhand Metro Rail, Urban Infrastructure & Building Construction Corporation (UKMRC) has floated a tender for the development of a ropeway system, each at Rishikesh and Haridwar in Uttarakhand on design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) basis
The scope of work includes a ropeway system at Haridwar from Har-ki-Pauri to Chandi Devi Mandir. Another ropeway project will be implemented at Rishikesh from ISBT Rishikesh to Parvati Mata Mandir via Triveni Ghat and Neeikanth Mahadev Mandri
The cost of the work at Rishikesh is Rs 465.69 crore, and the closing date for bid submission is 14 July, 2023
The estimated cost of the ropeway contract at Haridwar is Rs 160.80 crore. The bid submission deadline is 5 July, 2023
