RVNL-SCC joint venture (JV) has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for construction of the main canal to provide irrigation facility for Mahi Bajaj Sagar Project at Banswara in Rajasthan
The construction of the main canal and structures, also includes the associated distribution system to provide irrigation facility to 41,903 hectares area through a piped irrigation network for the upper high-level canal (UHLC)
The EPC contract is valued at Rs 2,248.95 crore, and has a 42-month completion period. It also includes 10 years of operation and maintenance (O&M)
RVNL owns a 51 percent share, and SCC holds 49 percent in the JV, respectively
