The Junagadh Municipal Corporation (JMC) has planned to implement underground drainage project in Junagadh city of Gujarat under AMRUT 2.0 scheme
In February 2023, JMC issued tenders to implement the project works
P C Snehal Construction, an Ahmedabad based company, has emerged as the lowest bidder to execute the project
The scope of work comprises designing, providing, supplying, lowering, laying and jointing sewer, collecting system including house connection work and other ancillary works, including the installation of pumping station and pumping machineries with a three months trial run
The work also includes post implementation operation and maintenance (O&M) of the constructed facilities under the package for a period of five years including a three-year defect liability period
