The South Western Railway has floated a tender for various construction works such as earthwork, major bridges as well as PF shelter and station buildings at Pavagada on Tumkuru-Rayadurga New Line in Karnataka
The scope of work includes the construction of earthwork, blanketing, minor bridges, major bridges, road over bridges (ROB), and road under bridges with approaches (balance works), and P.way, supply of ballast between ch:106/000 to ch:122/800 and foot over bridge (FOB), construction of PF shelter, station building and passenger amenities work at Pavagada and approach road works at Pavagada Yard. It also includes general electrical works on the stretch and Pavagada Yard (composite work)
The contract is worth Rs 74.39 crore, with a completion period of 14 months
The bid submission due date is 03 July, 2023
