The State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu (SIPCOT) has allocated about 125 acres of land at its Manapparai industrial park in Trichy for setting up an aerospace industrial park. Trichy is among the five nodal cities of the Tamil Nadu defence industrial corridor
The aerospace park will attract investments in the sector as well as in defence manufacturing, and the Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO) will be the nodal agency for promoting the park
