Adani Total Gas (ATGL), a joint venture (JV) between Adani Group and TotalEnergies, is planning to develop over 1,800 CNG stations in India in the next seven to ten years
ATGL has established 19 gas stations with its JV company, Indian Oil Adani Gas, and has a presence in 124 districts across the country. Additionally, it has completed laying 10,888 inch-km of steel pipeline and adding 1,951 inch-km line in FY 2022-23
The company has expanded its business in CNG stations from 126 during the last year to 460 this year, out of which, 87 were company owned dealer operated (CODO) and dealer owned dealer operated (DODO). In addition, the company is also diversifying its offerings to CNG, CBG and EV charging segments
ATGL has formed a wholly-owned subsidiary, Adani TotalEnergies E-mobility (ATEL), which is engaged in setting up electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure for 2W, 3W, and 4W, including buses across various locations in India. Similarly, its another owned company Adani TotalEnergies Biomass (ATBL) will tap into country's potential for bio-mass-derived energy
