Odisha government is in the process to complete the Gangadhar Meher lift irrigation project in Bargarh district of the state, which is expected to be operational by September 2023 in phases
The project, totalling Rs 1,677 crore, will undergo a test run in July this year
Once completed, the ongoing project will help to irrigate 25,600 hectares of land in Bijepur, Barpali, Sohela and Bargarh blocks
