The Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy & Infrastructure Technology Limited (MAHAPREIT), based in Mumbai, India, has initiated an open tender process for the development of a 50 MW(AC) grid-connected solar PV power plant in the Sangli District of Maharashtra. The project will be executed through a Single Stage Two Envelope process, with Techno-Commercial Bid (Envelope-I) and Price Bid (Envelope-II) submissions
As per the tender guidelines, the project requires the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of the 50 MW(AC) solar PV plant. The solar modules used in the project must be sourced exclusively from manufacturers listed in the latest “Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM)” issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE)
The solar PV plant will be installed at four locations in the Sangli District: Kundalpur, Tisangi, Rajuri and Ghatnandre
The scope of the proposal also includes the establishment of a Switchyard and Power Evacuation system up to the State Transmission Utility (STU) Sub-Station for the allocated capacity. Furthermore, the successful bidder will be responsible for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the solar PV plant, Switchyard, transmission lines, and EHV bay at the STU substation for a period of five (05) years
Interested bidders have until August 21, 2023, to submit their bids, with the bidding process scheduled for the same day. The project’s completion is expected within 380 days from the date of the letter of award
Bidders are required to deposit ?450,000 as an earnest money deposit, and the successful bidder must furnish a contract performance cum security guarantee, equivalent to 3% of the total contract value, within 28 days from the letter of award
