Patel Engineering (PEL) in joint venture (JV) has emerged as a lowest bidder (L1) for the tender floated by Maharashtra Krishna Valley Development Corporation (MKVDC), Pune for an irrigation project worth Rs 249.96 crore
The proposed project is located in Waghoshi to Kapadgaon village, Khandala in Satara district of Maharashtra. Under the contract, the work would involve construction of a pipeline distribution network (PDN) for Nira Deoghar Right Bank Main Canal km 66 to km 76
The project is anticipated to be completed in a 30 months timeline. Further, it is to be executed in JV, wherein PEL holds 40 percent share (Rs 99.98 crore)
The company has presence in tunnels and underground works for hydroelectric and dam projects in the domestic and international markets
