Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) received a letter of acceptance (LoA) from the Central Railway for a contract worth Rs 311 crore to construct tunnels and bridges in Madhya Pradesh
Under the contract, the company will be responsible for constructing four tunnels of a total length of 1.6 km, with ballastless track, earthwork in formation and 28 bridges. In addition, the work also includes supplying stone ballast, track linking, side drain retaining wall, and other related work in the Dharakoh-Maramjhiri section in connection with a third line
The contract is expected to be executed within 18 months from the commencement date
RVNL is engaged in the business of implementing various types of railway infrastructure projects as assigned by the Ministry of Railways. These projects encompass activities such as doubling of tracks, gauge conversion, new rail line construction, railway electrification, and significant bridge construction
