Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation (KPTCL) has invited bids for establishing a 2X500 MVA, 400/220 kV substation at Yalwar (Hadagali), Vijayapura taluk and district in Karnataka
The work involves the construction of associated 106.01 km of 400 kV DC line, 39.433 km of 220 kV DC line, 58.28 km of 220 kV DC LILO line. It also includes the construction of two nos. of 400 kV terminal bays at existing 400/220kV Kalaburgi substation and two of 220 kV terminal bays at existing 220/110kV Indi substation
The contract, valued at Rs 707.58 crore is to be carried out on partial turnkey basis. The completion and commissioning will be within 18 months from the letter of acceptance to the award of contract
The end date for bid submission is 20 December, 2023
