NBCC (India) has secured two project management consultancy (PMC) work orders worth Rs 180 crore. Of these, the company has received its first contract from Steel Authority of India (SAIL)
In this regard, the company has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with SAIL Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP) for infrastructure development works in DSP township and CSR works. The MoU was signed by key officials of NBCC and SAIL Durgapur and other senior officers from both the organisations
As a PMC, the company will undertake various construction and renovation work in DSP. The estimated cost of this contract is Rs 150 crore
The second contract worth Rs 29.70 crore is for construction of a permanent building of composite regional centre (CRC) at Samba, Jammu. The order has been awarded by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya National Institute for Persons with Physical Disabilities (Divyangjan) (PDUNIPPD)
