RITES Ltd., a prominent consultancy organization in the transport infrastructure sector, has officially entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO). The collaboration aims to facilitate consultancy works focused on strengthening logistical infrastructure across various hydropower stations in the region, particularly in the Siang Basin
The Arunachal Pradesh Government has entrusted NEEPCO with the execution of five hydropower projects in the Siang Basin to enhance power infrastructure in the region. Under the terms of the MoU, RITES will play a pivotal role as a Project Management Consultant, supporting NEEPCO in a range of activities related to rail infrastructure facilities. This includes expertise in signalling and telecommunications, overhead equipment, and conveyor systems. Additionally, the MoU encompasses works related to roads, buildings, and other civil ancillary structures, including utilities
