The Indore Development Authority (IDA) has approved ?320 crore for various development projects, including three flyovers and roads. The IDA board also decided to appoint a consultant for a feasibility survey of major roads and squares in the city to propose the utility and suitability of a cable-car ropeway transit system on a public-private partnership (PPP) basis. IDA chairman Jaypal Singh Chawda presented several proposals, with some gaining approval from the board's members
Other significant decisions included conducting a feasibility survey for developing a flyover between Rajiv Gandhi Square and Devi Ahilyabai fruit and vegetable market, appointing a consultant to prepare the Indore Regional Development Plan, approving ?12.43 crore for development and restoration work at Baneshwari Dham in Banganga, and revising the administrative approval to ?100.90 crore for the under-construction Interstate Bus Terminal (ISBT) at Scheme 139 and 169-A, along with allocating ?31.7 crore for an international-level swimming pool at Scheme 94
Chawda mentioned plans to develop a crash barrier costing ?8.31 crore at the central verge between Gandhi Nagar junction and Luvkush junction. Additionally, a tender of ?2.34 crore was approved for shifting high tension and low tension lines in IDA’s TPS – 03, Lasudia Mori, Talawali Chanda, Arandiya, and Mayakhedi
