The Rural Water Supply & Sanitation Department (RWSS), Karnataka has floated a tender for a multi-village scheme in Dakshina Kannada district of the state under Jal Jeevan Mission (JMM)
The scheme will cover 24 villages of Bantwala and Ullala taluks of Dakshina Kannada district, from water treatment plant (WTP) of Karnataka Urban Water Supply & Drainage Board (KUWS&DB) at Kairangala. The work is to be executed on design, build, operate, transfer (DBOT) basis
The scope of work involves design, testing and commissioning, and construction of pump house, pumping machinery main, electrical express feeder line and deposits (including substation), treated water pumping mains, and related works.
The contract is valued at Rs 245 crore, with a completion period of 15 months. The operation and maintenance (O&M) of the facilities is for a period of five years
The bid submission deadline is 21 March, 2024
