K2 Infragen Ltd has secured a contract worth ?90.2 crore for constructing a 4 Lane Rail Over Bridge on the Patna-Mughalsarai Section of Danapur Division in Chandauli District, Uttar Pradesh. The tender was won by a joint venture between M/s Gangasagar Singh & PRL Infrastructure, with K2 Infragen taking on full executional responsibility.
The project, overseen by the UP-State Bridge Corporation Ltd, is scheduled for completion within 18 months. It aims to bolster connectivity corridors, enhancing mobility across railway tracks as part of Uttar Pradesh's infrastructure development initiatives.
Pankaj Sharma, MD of K2 Infragen Ltd, expressed delight at this opportunity, stating, "We are thrilled to lead the execution of this pivotal project. This contract is expected to contribute ?35 crores to our revenues for FY 2024-2025. The completion of this Rail Over Bridge will significantly augment railway infrastructure in Chandauli, aligning with government efforts to modernize Indian Railways. We are committed to delivering quality work and timely completion, thereby enhancing connectivity and mobility in North India."
