Pavna Industries has acquired a land parcel of 4,335 sq. mtrs. at the Integrated Industrial State, Pantnagar in Uttarakhand for its upcoming greenfield plant which will accommodate the demand for die cast components. The automotive parts manufacturer plans to utilise the logistical and cost benefits of the industrial cluster for enhanced presence in the domestic automotive sector while it also looks to streamline its operations in serving Bajaj Auto as a key client.
The acquisition involves leveraging supply chain synergies and partaking of the collaborative business environment which will enable it to provide superior service, and eventually improved pricing. The new plant will enable it to attract work propositions from various original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in and around Pantnagar, and serve them with high-quality indigenous components in its technologically advanced plants.
Pavna Industries currently has nine operational facilties across Aligarh, Aurangabad and Pantnagar along with strategically located distribution network in 17 states. Earlier this year, the company bagged an order from Ola Electric for the supply of ignition switches and latches, and has launched its products in Bangladesh.
