Radisson Group of Hotels has signed its first hotel in West Bengal in partnership with the SBM Group. 'Radisson Hotel Siliguri' is set to be operational in Q2/2028.
Once open, the property will offer 150 guest rooms and suites, along with amenities like a fitness centre, a swimming pool, spa, as well as a tea lounge and dining options. It will also include multiple event spaces spread across 18,000 sq. ft. to cater to meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) segment, and gatherings. The hotel aims to enhance connectivity to northeastern cities and neighbouring countries.
The hotel will be located close to the Bagdogra International Airport, New Jalpaiguri railway station, and Siliguri junction which will serve the transport needs for intercity, intracity travellers. It will also make northeastern cities like Darjeeling and Dooras accessible.
The signing reflects the expansion of the Group’s footprint in the region, which boasts of natural beauty and industrial resources. The Group’s strong brand value and delivery of exceptional guest experience would potentially make it the preferred choice for travellers coming to the city.
