Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Druk Green Power Corporation for a 570 MW hydroelectric plant in Chukha province. He had a meeting with Bhutan Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay, indicating development for bilateral cooperation.
Further, this indicates Bhutan's efforts to develop infrastructure under the vision of King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck. Adani also met with Bhutan King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck. and looks forward to collaboration on hydro and other transformative projects, as also on green energy management.
Under the King's vision for Bhutan, an eco-friendly master plan has been announced for Gelephu Mindfulness City, including large computing centres and data facilities.
