Asian Energy Services (AESL) along with its JV partner Indwell has secured a Rs 148-crore contract for a coal evacuation system at PKOCP, Manuguru area of Singareni Collieries Company (SCCL).
The order entails design, supply, erection, commissioning and trial run of the evacuation system by belt conveyors, which is to be completed in 18 months' timeline.
This marks AESL's second order secured with SCCL, resonating the favourable outlook on the opportunities within the mineral sector. It also shows its strategic shift from solely focusing on seismic services towards a more diversified approach.
AESL is an end-to-end service provider across the upstream value chain.
