Texmaco Rail & Engineering has emerged as L1 bidder for electrification work between Virar-Dahanu Section of Western Railway & Suburban corridor between Panvel- Karjat section of Central Railway.
Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation had invited bids for construction, installation, testing and commissioning of 220/132/110/55kV TSS, SP & SSPs with 2X25 kV Scott connected transformers and associated work on design and build basis for third & fouth line between Virar- Dahanu Section (64 Route km) of Western Railway & Suburban corridor between Panvel-Karjat section (30 Route km) of Central Railway.
The company’s bid value was Rs 206.16 crore, for the contracts to be carried out under Mumbai Urban Transport Projects (MUTP)-III (Lot-I & II).
The financial bid was opened on 18 June, 2024.
