Beyond Snack has announced the inauguration of its new factory at India Food Park in Tumkur in Karnataka.
The modern facility opened by the Kerala banana chips brand, spans 60,000 sq. ft. over two acres and incorporates cutting-edge technology to ensure precision slicing and control of the processes involved. With a daily production capacity of 6.6 tonne, the factory will triple Beyond Snack’s current capacity.
The plant constructed was completed in a record time of 4.5 months, underscoring Beyond Snack’s commitment to efficiency and innovation, and is further expected toenhance the company’s growth plans for the coming year. Moreover, from employing an 80 percent women workforce, the facility aims to become a 100 percent women-run operation by 2026.
Besides an R&D centre, the new plant accommodates four additional production lines, ensuring the feature of scalability to meet future demands.
