Infrastructure company KEC International has secured new orders worth Rs 1,025 crore in its transmission & distribution (T&D) and cables businesses.
In the T&D sector, the company has been awarded a 765 kV GIS substation project by Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) in India. Additionally, the company has bagged a comprehensive 225 kV composite project including transmission lines, substations, and underground cabling in West Africa.
In America, KEC International has a contract for the supply of towers, hardware, and poles, further strengthening its presence in the region
The cables business has also seen inflow of orders, for the supply of various types of cables, both within India and internationally. With these orders, the company’s YTD order intake has surpassed Rs 4,000 crore, indicating a growth of over 70 percent compared to last year.
