HPL Electric & Power has received a letter of award for a work order of Rs 2,100.71 crore.
The company has received from its regular leading customers for the supply of smart meters in the normal course of business, and is to be executed as per the terms & conditions of letter of award (LoA)/work orders. As per its latest annual report, HPL Electric closed the previous financial year with an order book of over Rs 1,500 crore. Metering and systems segment contributed to nearly 82 percent of that total order book.
Also, HPL Electric, earlier this month signed a MoU with Guangxi Ramway Technology, China towards the local manufacturing under phased manufacturing/technical tie-up/procurement for the assembly of relay/latching relays in India.
