The Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) has invited bids for leasing railway land for the redevelopment of Naliapool Railway Colony in Dibrugarh, under Northeast Frontier Railway. The project involves the redevelopment of 168 existing units. The total land area entrusted to RLDA is 50,113.54 sqm, with 36,458.18 sqm available for lease to the developer. The land will be leased for 99 years with a reserve price of ?31 crore. The development will include the construction of 168 types of quarters, with a permissible Floor Space Index (FSI) of 2.01.
Located on Durgabari Road, Naliapool Railway Colony is approximately 300 meters from National Highway 37. The site is accessible from Budha Mandir Road to the north, with road widths varying between 6 to 8 meters. Additionally, there are multiple secondary and tertiary roads from NH-37 providing various access points. The colony is bordered by a municipality residential area to the north and west, a municipality residential area and part of railway land to the south, and Durgabari Road and Borbari Railway Colony to the east.
