Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) has received a contract worth Rs 192 crore for the upgradation of an electric traction system. The company has received the letter of acceptance (LoA) from South Eastern Railway.
The contract includes the design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of a 132-kV traction substation, sectioning post, and sub-sectioning post in 2x25 kV system on the Rajkhaswan-Nayagarh-Bolani section of Chakradharpur division.
