Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ), India’s largest private port operator, has signed a concession agreement with the Deendayal Port Authority to develop and operate a 5.7 million tonne capacity multipurpose terminal at Kandla Port, Gujarat. The terminal will handle clean cargo, including containers. APSEZ secured the 30-year contract by offering the highest royalty bid of ?200 per ton.
