Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed a IHCL SeleQtions hotel on East Coast Road (ECR) in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This is its first SeleQtions hotel in the city, where IHCL has a multi-brand presence of 14 hotels spread across central business districts (CBDs) and emerging markets.
It will partner with GT Bharathi Urban Developers for this project. The 120-key hotel is part of 32-acre green township, and close to the city’s attractions. The hotel will feature an all-day diner, and amenities like gym and, swimming pool
This hotel is set to become an ideal destination for both MICE and leisure travellers as visitors are expected from nearby major cities. IHCL will have 22 hotels in Tamil Nadu including six under development, with this addition.
Earlier this month, the company announced that it would develop 150-room Vivanta and 200-key Ginger brand hotels on a three-acre land in Hosur in the state.
