Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) has secured a Rs 1,031.6 crore contract by Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC). The order entails the construction of a two-lane bridge across Agardanda Creek in Raigad district.
The 4.3 km bridge will be constructed on the offshore side of Agardanda Jetty and Dighi Port on engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) mode. The bridge will consist of approaches of 45 mtrs. on the Agardanda side, 145 mtrs. on the Dighi side, and the main bridge of 4,120 mtrs.
Once completed, this project is poised to contribute to enhanced connectivity, reduced travel time and overall economic development in the region.
